Ablation therapies for hepatic malignancies are currently employed most often with curative intent. While guidance system, ablation modalities, and computer-assisted features are rapidly evolving, surgical outcomes should improve in the next few years. In this lecture, Prof. Giménez summarizes the current state-of-the-art of technological advances in ablation.
