Lesson description:

The objectives of this lesson are to understand the basic ultrasound imaging terminology and to observe the normal echogenicity patterns related to different organs and tissues

The terminology used to describe ultrasound findings is the description of the brightness of the structure.

Solid organs or structures have varied echogenicity: isoechoic, hyperechoic, hypoechoic or anechoic.
